Our production is rooted in Finland, with facilities in Leppävirta, Pyhäjoki, Hämeenlinna, and our newly acquired Varkaus site. Each building we produce reflects the high standards Finland is known for—strict regulations that ensure unparalleled quality and safety. This commitment to excellence drives us to deliver durable, reliable and sustainable solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. Our story
What if buildings were designed to transform along with the communities they serve? This novel concept is what we at Parmaco call dynamic architecture, an alternative to traditional, static buildings and a new standard in construction.
Parmaco way has always been to co-create alongside our customers; working together to invent new ways to tackle challenges, big and small. While our dedication to modular construction remains, our offering has evolved.
Our journey
- 1966 Pyhäjoki production facility starts its operations as Pyhäjoki Puuteollisuus Oy (part of Hankkija Group)
- 1972 Leppävirta production facility starts its operations as part of Huurre-Ureta Oy
- 2012 Founding of current Parmaco (Owned by MB Funds)
- 2015 Expansion to Sweden
- 2018 Terra Firma leads the acquisition from MB Funds
- 2020 Construction of a storage facility to Akaa
- 2021 Partners Group Acquires Parmaco from Terra Firma
- 2022 Parmaco acquires Fixcel Group Oy
- 02/2024 Parmaco acquires Mobispace GmbH
- 05/2024 Parmaco achieves the first BREEAM certificate in Sweden
- 08/2024 Acquisition of a new production plant in Varkaus
- 10/2024 Parmaco announces collab with SSAB
