We create sustainable, flexible buildings in wood and steel. Our solution tackles two major climate challenges in construction: reducing wasteful overbuilding (for example underused government offices in Finland have an average occupancy of 28%*) and cutting real estate emissions, which make up 37%** of global building industry greenhouse gases.

Our partnership with SSAB will soon bring to life the world’s first fossil-free Hybrit®-steel concept building, showcasing the possibilities of these materials. During the last years we have put effort into digging deep into our carbon calculations, GHG Protocol (Scope 1, 2 and 3) , and for instance, we now know that 97% of our emissions come from our value chain.
In 2024 we did a third-party-verified Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of Parmaco products. The LCA showed, that up to 72% of emissions can be avoided by moving a building three times rather than constructing new ones. Additionally, in 2024, Parmaco performed a Double Materiality Analysis identifying six material focus areas: climate change, circular economy, workforce, value chain workers, end users, and business conduct, shaping the foundation of our sustainability strategy.
