Q: What attracted you to Parmaco when you joined?
JJ: What excited me most was our extraordinary growth story and the potential I saw in our people, our dynamic building innovations and in our mission — to rethink how buildings can evolve and how they can resolve challenges and respond to real needs over time.
Q: How would you describe Parmaco’s strategy in simple terms?
JJ: At Parmaco, our strategy isn’t just written in a boardroom — it’s lived every day in how we build, evolve and grow together with the communities we serve. As CEO, I’m constantly reminded that our greatest strength isn’t just our solutions, but our collective ambition to transform the building industry and shape the future of societies with dynamic architecture.
Q: “Growth with purpose” is associated to Parmaco. What does it mean in practice?
JJ: Parmaco’s strategy is anchored in delivering dynamic, circular and flexible buildings for rent. They are optimized to meet the evolving needs of municipalities, cities and organizations — from schools and daycare buildings to healthcare facilities and offices. Unlike static structures, our dynamic buildings can be expanded, repurposed or relocated as needs change. This capability is becoming increasingly valuable in today’s fast-changing world.
This concept of dynamic architecture reflects our belief that buildings should evolve with society rather than remain static; it’s a mindset that distinguishes us in the industry and fuels our ambition to grow not just in scale, but in impact.
Q: How does international growth fit into your strategy?
JJ: A major pillar of our growth strategy is international expansion. We’re proud of our deep roots in Finland and strong presence in Sweden. We are equally excited about the opportunities unfolding across Europe. With strengthened financing and an expanded leadership team, we’re introducing dynamic building solutions to new markets and customers.
Our growth isn’t just about adding buildings — it’s about bringing smarter, more sustainable space solutions to new communities, guided by the belief that flexibility and sustainability go hand-in-hand.
Q: What role do people and culture play in Parmaco’s success?
JJ: Growth means nothing without a strong team and open collaboration. Our people — from design to production and from sales to customer support — embody a culture of curiosity, teamwork and accountability. I firmly believe that a dynamic company needs dynamic minds and that investing in people is fundamental to our continued success.

Our strategy is to meet those challenges head-on with solutions that are reliable, able to evolve with changing needs, and built to last.
I’m proud of how far we’ve come — and even more excited about where we’re going. Growth isn’t only about numbers; it’s about the value we create, the relationships we build and the positive momentum we generate for our customers and for the communities.
