Parmaco shapes the future of sustainable renovation at Re Renovate Symposium 2025 in Oulu
Parmaco is proud to participate in the international Re Renovate Symposium to highlight the role of dynamic construction in sustainable renovation. The three-day event will take place in Oulu from August 1 to 3, 2025, bringing together leading experts in architecture, politics, and cultural diplomacy to discuss the evolving role of renovation in a rapidly changing world.
Parmaco, a Finnish company specializing in dynamic, rentable buildings, is a partner of the symposium. According to the company, the event offers a significant platform to showcase innovative, circular economy-driven approaches to developing the built environment.
“Re Renovate provides us, as a partner, with an influential forum to explore the built environment and construction from fresh, innovative perspectives—together with leading experts in architecture, politics, and cultural diplomacy. We have the opportunity to shape the future of the built environment collaboratively,” says Anna Elo, Marketing and Communications Director at Parmaco.
Parmaco believes that the challenges faced by the built environment require a new dynamic mindset, where buildings are not permanent solutions but evolve alongside societal changes.
“Our movable and adjustable buildings complement existing infrastructure by quickly providing additional space or enabling new functions, respecting the old while enabling the new. There is strong demand for such solutions also across the broader European market,” explains Heikki Hallila, Parmaco’s Director of International growth.
During the symposium, Parmaco will participate in workshops addressing the potential of dynamic construction as a support for renovation projects. The company’s perspective adds valuable insight to the event’s core themes, including smart renovation, circular economy, inclusion, and regulation.
