“The high-quality apartments feature pleasant and well-designed layouts, which was important to us. We are currently planning the development of the surrounding area and look forward to employees moving in and the area coming to life.”

Fredrik Nilsson, Real Estate Manager, Skellefteå municipality

Housing solutions for the municipality’s evolving needs

In the dynamic homes’ design, the emphasis is on quality, functionality and flexibility. The municipality of Skellefteå rented seven two-storey buildings, a total of 36 apartments, for its employees. Architecturally, the appartment complex blends into its surrounding environment and responds to the municipality’s housing needs in a sustainable way without compromising the quality of living.

By renting the apartments, financial risks are reduced. The municipality retains control over land use and avoids major investment costs. At the same time, the municipality of Skellefteå gains a housing solution that can, for example, be scaled down according to future needs. In this way, energy is not wasted on heating obsolete buildings.
