The Helsinki University Hospital’s Child Psychiatry Department was completed in the Kivelä hospital area in December 2018. The key aspects of the project were the flexibility of the space solutions, the supply chain, and the health and safety of the premises.

The architecture of the HUS Child Psychiatry Department ensured that the new building would blend into the protected environment.

The premises of the Seinäjoki Children’s Hospital were completed in September 2019. The three-story building housed the pediatrics unit’s inpatient ward, emergency department, outpatient clinic and day hospital.

The building was the largest portable hospital building in Finland at the time of handover.
