The facilities for the addiction psychiatry ward of Helsinki University Hospital were completed in June 2018 on the protected Kivelä Hospital area. The two-storey building was finished within four months, in accordance with the quality requirements specified by the client for the site.

The new healthcare building in Lappeenranta brings modern care and functionality to the region. The facility combines patient well-being, improved working conditions for staff, and contemporary safety and quality standards. The building is part of South Karelia Central Hospital.

The Helsinki University Hospital’s Child Psychiatry Department was completed in the Kivelä hospital area in December 2018. The key aspects of the project were the flexibility of the space solutions, the supply chain, and the health and safety of the premises.

The architecture of the HUS Child Psychiatry Department ensured that the new building would blend into the protected environment.

The premises of the Seinäjoki Children’s Hospital were completed in September 2019. The three-storey building houses the pediatrics unit’s inpatient ward, emergency department, outpatient clinic and day hospital.

The building was the largest movable hospital building in Finland at the time of handover.
